My name is Alex Murdock. I do web development and design, Android development, and ServiceNow development. I am located in Riverton, Utah and am a devoted car enthusiast. When I am not coding or designing a new project I am working on exciting projects on my 35th anniversary 350z or at a car meet with my friends. My favorite car that I've ever driven is a heavily modded R35 GTR or a Porsche GT3 RS 991.2!
I taught myself how to code when I was 15 years old using HTML and CSS to create basic web pages and ever since I have been very interested in everything tech related. When I started my senior year of high school I took a college web development and design course at the Jordan Academy for Technology and Careers (JATC) where I earned 4 Microsoft Technology Associate certifications as well as 3 Adobe Certified Professional certificates. I also received a certificate of completion for the Bottega coding foundations course. As well as the many certifications I earned I also learned some very valuable skills through a few different internships for different clients I completed while attending the (JATC).
Nowadays I am working on improving my fullstack skills, and learning more about the automotive industry and where software can drive new innovation in the field. Professionally I am working as a ServiceNow Developer at the University of Utah and working on freelance projects when the opportunities present themselves. Last but certainly not least I am attending the University of Utah for a Bachelor's degree in software development and a minor in business.
